ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER
The fact that with a photograph you capture and immortalise one unique moment in time has always fascinated me.
Not only for the fact that it serves to capture that place, person or object at that exact moment but as a personal record of the people I have met and the places I have seen, many of which would not have happened had it not been for my passion for the visual.
Each and every photo I have taken is an experience and often one that is shared with others, this gift I will never take for granted.
For me, being successful as a photographer means not just recording a moment scientifically but translating the photographic skills and techniques I have learnt into an understood visual language in order to actually convey an individual character or momentary atmosphere in one split second.
It is more than creating beautiful images, it is creating successful, compelling and communicative visual language through the use and manipulation of all the elements that make up a photograph such as light, colour and composition.

I have a broad experience in various areas. I studied photography within a fine art discipline at London Guildhall University for 3 years and prior to that I studied art and design for 3 years. I also have a BTEC diploma in art and design from Camberwell School of Arts for which I was awarded a distinction.
After graduating university with a 1st Class BA Honours Degree I have worked in private and commercial arenas undertaking a variety of commissions, some of which can be viewed in the Commissions and Portrait/Headshots/Actors section of my website.
I am a registered member of The British Professional Photographers Association (BPPA) and The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP)
The SWPP & BPPA has a strict Code of Ethics that is rigidly enforced to ensure the consumer is not only hiring a talented photographer, but also one with impeccable business practices.
I use my creative fine art background to transform ordinary images into insightful and original photography.
Having also studied design I have built up graphic software skills which have made the transition from film to digital a smooth one.
As well as custom assignments I have a vast Stock Photography collection of which some can also be viewed on my website.
